Your role in a nutshell
You will be responsible for delivering payroll across the LATAM region through a team of payroll experts. Your ability to lead and govern the team will be an integral part of the role. Your project management abilities to help assist and direct daily tasks that would result in effective payroll service delivery will play a crucial role in your success as a Regional Payroll Manager.
You will be responsible for Payroll delivery across LATAM in a smooth manner by ensuring activities are undertaken in order to adhere to committed deadlines.
Review business, processes and work towards continually improving delivery and enhancing customer satisfaction.
You will manage a team of cluster managers and have proper governance and reporting framework deployed for identifying delivery risks and have them addressed in a timely manner.
Manage the team of payroll consultants and partners and work in tandem with them to ensure key responsibilities and goals are attained as per committed timelines. You will be required to undertake pricing negotiations, with partners, where required.
You will be responsible for creating quarterly and annual budgets in tandem with the Operations Manager for your respective regions, ensuring budget control for the regional organization.
You will monitor and ensure the maintenance of country-specific knowledge repositories pertaining to your region which will be relied upon by multiple teams across the organization.
A key responsibility would be to help Neeyamo expand its delivery to support payroll processing by its in-house teams, depending on the overall strategic roadmap defined by the organization.
Your managerial role will involve talent acquisition and retention of cluster & country managers who will be your direct reports – therefore team engagement and talent development will be one of your key responsibilities.
Experience and Skills
We are looking for a leader with 12+ years of relative experience in managing teams – having managed payroll in the past would be highly desired.
Having a Payroll/HR/Finance background with an understanding of the core competencies of the payroll process is also desirable.
Having worked in delivering for a multi-country set-up
Showcase relevant experience in liaising with clients in past roles and having taken accountability for customer satisfaction
Strong skills in drafting and overseeing reports circulated amongst internal stakeholders and to customers alike
Education & Certification Background:
Any graduate. We would prefer that you hold an MBA.
Additional industry-specific certifications such as CIPP / APA / PMI / 6 Sigma etc will give your application an edge.
You will be required to travel – so please be prepared!
